We welcome you to SASMO web site. The site is introducing the Syrian Arab Standards and Metrology Organization and the services that it offers.
One of the great features that we are offering to our customers is the posibility for subscribers to download syrian standards. For this purpose, the customer should contact the SASMO to get an account.

Once the customer is having his account, he can search for syrian standards and download required standard. Each standard has a price. The price is represented in number of points.
Searching for and downloading standards
The subscriber can search for syrian standards and download them by following the next points:
- Subscriber authentication. The subscriber must enter here his credentials. Subscribers can never download standards without authenticating to the system. To authenticate, the user should enter his subscription account name in the field "user name" and his password in the field "password".
The area dedicated to the user authentication is found in the top of the blue sidebar to the left. If this area is not shown, please click on the title "Suscriber Area".
- Search for the required standard. To do that, the user should click on the link "standards search" under the paragraph "Syrian Standards" on the blue sidebar to the left pf the page.
- In the page of standard criteria, the user should specify the search criteria and he should click on the "Search" button.
- After the search results are displayed, the subscriber can download the standard immediately by clicking on the "floppy disk" icon next to the standard information, or she/he can check the standard details by clicking on its title where he can download the standard in the same way.
Notce: The download icon (floppy disk icon) does not appear for users not authenticated to the system when searching for sandards.
